Tucson Values Teachers (TVT) is a Southern Arizona education nonprofit dedicated to supporting, celebrating, and empowering PreK–12 teachers. We bring together business leaders, community partners, and education advocates to strengthen teacher retention, elevate the teaching profession, and ensure every student benefits from great educators.
As an education nonprofit in Arizona, we believe that strong schools start with supported teachers. Through business partnerships with schools, community programs, and corporate social responsibility initiatives, we provide teacher resources, professional development opportunities, and financial support to help local educators thrive. TVT also leverages partnerships with the Southern Arizona Leadership Council and other business and education groups to advocate for funding and policies that positively impact teachers, students, and schools.
TVT is proud to serve as a bridge between the greater community, businesses, and the education community, helping individuals and companies support educational events, sponsor teacher programs, and invest in the future of Arizona’s classrooms. From our signature events like Stand Up 4 Teachers to innovative platforms like Lumia, everything we do is rooted in our mission to support Tucson teachers and make Southern Arizona the best place to teach and learn.

History
Founded by the Southern Arizona Leadership Council, TVT quickly earned the support of businesses, educational institutions, and nonprofit organizations across the region. Community leaders recognized that quality teachers are essential to student success and that TVT’s mission to support Tucson teachers is vital to the future of Southern Arizona.
TVT focuses on fostering collaboration, optimism, and sustainable support for educators. Our programs and initiatives are designed to celebrate and support high-quality PreK–12 teachers, strengthen classrooms, and provide meaningful opportunities for business partnerships with schools in Arizona.
