Southern Arizona PreK-12 teachers may apply for a scholarship of up to $250 to help pay tuition, registration fees, or materials related to a PD conference or workshop.
To be eligible for a Tucson Values Teachers Professional Development Scholarship, applicants must:
- Spend the majority (over 50%) of the school day in direct instruction to student;
- Currently be certified to teach in Arizona or working in a licensed and regulated early childhood education center;
- Upload a copy of teaching certificate or appropriate credentials with application;
- Teach any grade or combination of grades PreK through 12 in a school in Pima County, Cochise County, and/or Santa Cruz County Arizona; and
- Plan to continue in an active teaching status through the next full school year.
Southern Arizona PreK teachers may be eligible to apply for a mini-grant! Mini-grant requests may not exceed $500 and can be used for classroom supplies, technology, books, materials, and/or resources for the specific classroom project and/or program that is detailed in the application for funding.
To be eligible for a Tucson Values Teachers PreK Mini-Grant, applicants must:
- Spend the majority (over 50%) of the school day in direct instruction to students
- Currently be certified to teach in Arizona or working in a licensed and regulated early childhood education center
- Upload a copy of teaching certificate or appropriate credentials with application
- Teach Early Childhood through PreK (infant – age 4yrs) in a facility or school in Pima County, Cochise County, and/or Santa Cruz County Arizona
- Plan to continue in an active teaching status through the next full school year.
