Mary Stack Kohn is the Talent Development & Learning Lead for Raytheon, a RTX business. Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX), with 195,000 employees world-wide, is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, civil government, and cybersecurity solutions. Raytheon is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Currently, Kohn is the Lead for multiple HR Professional and Leadership programs and tools. She is the Business lead for Performance Impact, Learning & Development, Workday Learning Governance Board, and Raytheon Learning Council.
Prior to her current position, she managed the Emerging Leader Talent Pool, the Lightspeed Experience Leadership program, the Fast Track program, the Ambassador Training program, the Professional and Leadership Development program, and the Leadership Symposium. She was also on the core team of the Employee Advocacy initiative and supervised the roll out of the RMD Management Development Program.
Kohn’s 14 years with Raytheon has included increasing responsibilities in instructional design and program development. While working at Raytheon Intelligence Information Systems (IIS), she managed the professional development program for the 2-13th Aviation Regiment at Fort Huachuca, AZ to include designing the Technical Facilitator degree accredited through Cochise College.
In her career prior to Raytheon, Kohn has taught all grade levels from pre-K3 through University as a Literature teacher, librarian, and school administrator. She has held faculty positions at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Frostburg State University, Allegany College of Maryland, and Cochise College. Some of her notable career accomplishments include being a Fulbright Scholar and receiving the Flinn Foundation Distinguished Educator Award.
Kohn has earned a BA in Secondary Education, an MA in Comparative Literatures, and a PhD in Post-Secondary and Adult Education.
